Left 4 Dead

David

Left 4 Dead is a co-operative survival horror first-person shooter video game. It was developed by Turtle Rock Studios, which was purchased by the Valve Corporation part-way into development.

A new and highly virulent strain of the rabies virus emerges and spreads through the human population with frightening speed. The pandemic's victims become grotesquely disfigured, wildly violent psychopaths, attacking the uninfected on sight. One of the lucky few apparently immune to the sickness, you, unfortunately, are also trapped in a city crawling with thousands of the bloodthirsty Infacted. Together with a handful of fellow Survivors, you must fight your way to safety or die alone. Left 4 Dead is built a top the most advanced version of the Source Engine and introduces version 2 of Turtle Rock's artificial intelligence (A.I.) technology.

Characters

Survivor Characters:

- Francis a tattoo-covered biker.
- Zoey a college student and horror movie enthusiast.
- Louis a junior systems analyst in his company's IT department.
- Bill a former Green Beret and a Vietnam veteran.

Infected Characters:

- The Horde: Eerily fast, sensitive to loud noises and movement, and able to attack in ravenous waves.
- The Witch: They hate flashlights and loud noises, but what they hate more than anything is being shot at.
- The Boomer: The fat, slow Boomer vomits a thick bile with two side effects: It blinds Survivors, and it attracts hordes of Infected.
- The Smoker: Smokers work best from an out-of-sight vantage point.
- The Hunter: Hunters are a mutated breed of zombie—faster, fiercer and far more dangerous than common Infected.
- The Tank: Mutated through infection, the Tank's only strategy is brute force.

Campaign

* No Mercy

The No Mercy campaign finds you on the rooftop of an obliterated apartment complex, deep in the heart of the once-thriving metropolis of Fairfield—now completely overrun with hordes of Infected.

* Death Toll

Shoot, shove and sprint through a nightmare suburbia consumed by the Infected horde.

* Dead Air

Guide your team of Survivors out of the downtown core of Newburg's business district, through derelict office floors and still-inhabited cubicles, and out onto the runway of Metro International Airport, where the only thing standing between you and the last plane out of the city is a murderous army of the undead.

Resident Evil 5

David

Resident Evil 5 was released on March 5, 2009 in Japan developed and published by Capcom. Capcom officially announced Resident Evil 5 on July 20, 2005.

Resident Evil 5, known in Japan as Biohazard 5 is the seventh installment in the Resident Evil survival horror video game series for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The biohazard threat has not ended: Just when it seemed that the menace of Resident Evil had been destroyed, along comes a new terror to send shivers down players' spines. Chris Redfield, returning Resident Evil hero, has followed the path of the evil literally around the globe.

After joining a new organization, Chris heads to Africa where the latest bioterrorism threat is literally transforming the people and animals of the city into mindless, maddened creatures. He is joined by a new partner, Sheva Alomar, who lends her strength, intelligence and sharp-shooting skills to the mission. In order to survive, Chris and Sheva must work together to take on the challenges of discovering the truth behind this evil plot.

Utilizing a revolutionary new 2-player co-op mode of gameplay, players assume control of either Chris or Sheva and experience Resident Evil in new ways. In Resident Evil 5, Capcom has players fearing the daylight as much as they have feared shadow in previous games.

Prince of Persia Online Games

David

Prince of Persia takes the series into a whole new visual and gameplay direction. The game has a cel-shaded look to it but with an almost gritty feel to it. The chief innovations include an evocative art style, freeform approach to gameplay, and a cinematic battle system. The game frequently favors exciting visual displays of acrobatics and combat over tight moment-to-moment controls, which has the potential to frustrate. At its best, the new Prince is a thrilling tale that sweeps you up in its romance, adventure, and fantasy. At its worst, it can feel like a formulaic romp where you’re only along for the ride.

Platforming

Prince of Persia is unique in that platforming really isn't all that difficult. It's very handy and encourages exploration, so don't be afraid of missing a leap as rescue is but an Elika away.

Jumping

The "jump" button is the one you'll be using most often. It serves as the launching point for numerous stylish maneuvers, such as wall-runs and wall-climbs. But what if a single-jump isn't enough? By tapping the "Elika Magic" button during a jump, she'll give you a boost, doubling your distance!

Rings

When you running along walls, you will often encounter "rings" embedded in the surface--you must tap "Use" in order to grab and fling yourself onward, if you fail to do so, you'll fall and Elika will return you to the last platform.

Power Plates

There are four Power Plates in total which, and each grants a special ability for a limited amount of time, such as a long-jump, a wall-run, or even flight. Two of the four are completely automated, and thus require no user-input after being activated, however, the other two do afford a limited amount of movement--in these case, just dodge the various obvious obstacles and you'll be well on your way to victory.

Light Seeds

Light Seeds will appear all over the land you have just saved. In order to unlock more levels, you'll have to collect a set amount of Light Seeds and return them to the temple. There are 45 seeds per levels, many of which are in plane sight.

Combat

Combat in Prince of Persia is rather unique in that you only have four main attacks (in addition to blocking), but it's how you string them together that matters. A particularly potent combo is to throw your opponent in the air (generally after you've deflected an attack--discussed below), follow-up with a magic attack, perform a jump attack, then another magic attack! There are countless ways to string them together.
